About Cakes
Cakes are usually sweet and often
baked. Cakes normally combine a wheat product, a
sweetening agent which is sugar, a binding agent (like eggs or
starch), fats which is usually butter or margarine,
and milk or fruit juice. Flavouring like
chocolate for example and a leavening agent like yeast or
baking powder are needed to create a cake.
